Areas of  Support

NationalRedress Scheme

I provide specialised counselling for survivors of institutional child sexual abuse accessing support through the National Redress Scheme.

Therapy is delivered with sensitivity, respect and a deep understanding of the long-term impact trauma can have on emotional wellbeing, relationships, trust, identity and everyday functioning. Sessions provide a safe space to process experiences, strengthen coping strategies and support healing.

Victims of Crime

Experiencing crime can have a profound emotional and psychological impact. Whether you have experienced assault, family violence, abuse, or another traumatic event, counselling can assist you in processing your experiences, managing distress and rebuilding confidence.

Support is provided with compassion, understanding and respect throughout your recovery journey.

Family & Domestic Violence

Living with family or domestic violence often leaves lasting emotional effects that continue long after the abuse has ended.

Counselling supports individuals who have experienced coercive control, emotional abuse, psychological abuse, physical violence, sexual abuse or financial abuse. Therapy focuses on rebuilding safety, confidence, healthy boundaries, self-worth and emotional wellbeing while supporting recovery from trauma.

Workplace Injury & WorkCover

A workplace injury or psychologically unsafe work environment can significantly affect both your mental health and quality of life.

I work with individuals experiencing workplace stress, bullying, harassment, burnout, adjustment difficulties, anxiety, depression and psychological injury. Therapy supports emotional recovery while helping clients regain confidence, resilience and direction as they navigate their return-to-work journey.

Court and Legal Matters

Legal proceedings can be emotionally exhausting and highly stressful.

I provide counselling for individuals involved in court processes, criminal matters, intervention orders, family disputes and other legal proceedings. Where clinically appropriate, professional reports and support letters may also be prepared to assist legal representatives or other treating professionals.

Trauma and Complex Trauma

Trauma can result from a single event or repeated experiences over many years.

Complex trauma often develops following ongoing childhood adversity, abuse, neglect, family violence or prolonged exposure to unsafe environments. Therapy focuses on understanding the impact trauma has on the brain, emotions and nervous system while helping clients develop healthier coping strategies, emotional regulation and renewed confidence.

A Trauma-Informed Approach

At RightPath Counselling, every client is treated with dignity, compassion and respect.
Therapy is never about forcing people to revisit painful memories before they are ready. Instead, we work together to establish safety, strengthen emotional regulation, build resilience and process experiences at a pace that feels manageable.

Treatment is always tailored to your individual circumstances.
